To feed any IDS valve, choose from our
dispensing syringes, (to feed thin to medium
materials in very small shots) our
single cartridges, (for medium to thicker materials in smaller shots
or beads) or for large volume capacity, order one of our
reservoirs (for thin to medium
materials) or one of our
pail
dispenser units, for thicker materials.
Includes a
DB9 Connector that can give feedback to a robot or
PLC.
Simple to operate. After filling your choice of reservoir
with material and hooking it up to your shop air or compressor, adjust
the air pressure into the chamber, cartridge or syringe to your valve (with
a low setting at first) then gradually increase the pressure during the
setup.
Set
the controller switch to manual or automatic, and check all of your
connections, activate the air pressure into the
chamber, syringe or cartridge by pressing the foot pedal or sending an on
signal to the controller from your robot or PLC, while adjusting the flow of
material slowly upward until you reach the flow desired. If you are doing a
by-eye deposit or
running the controller by an external signal, leave the controller in manual
mode.
If
deposits are made by an operator or in a hand-held or semi robotic
application (where all of the shots are identical in volume) switch to
Automatic Mode and use the parameters you set, to automatically repeat.
The valve
controller is a digital shot timer developed for bench top
dispensing applications. This controller
uses an internal 2-position 3-way solenoid valve to operate a
dispense or spray valve. |
